
What is a Safety Action Plan?
A safety action plan also known as a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Plan is a plan used to develop a holistic, well-defined strategy to eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries in a region.

Overview:
The PlN will analyze safety needs, identify high-risk locations and
factors contributing to crashes, and prioritize strategies to address
them.
​
The Plan will meet eligibility requirements that allow local
jurisdictions to apply for Implementation Grants from the United States
Department of Transportation (USDOT) Safe Streets and Roads for All
(SS4A) program (https://www.transportation.gov/grants/SS4A).
​
Purpose:
The purpose of a safety action plan is to develop a holistic strategy to reduce roadway fatalities and serious injuries in Iron County and act as a guide for future implementation of the safety strategies.
CSAP will:

Naples

Equity Considerations
